In 1972, we had just moved to small town on the Russian River in Sonoma County, California. One evening, I happened into a little coffee house that featured folk singers. I quickly realized that young woman singing that night was rare and gifted talent; the moment would live with me forever. Even though she was lost to us when she was young; Kate Wolf still lives in us through her many songs, we sing and share.
