It’s been 30 years since the senseless murder of John Lennon. Yet, the universe of his vision is still expanding. This is a wonderful cover of “imagine” performed by the “Playing For Change Foundation.” Performers from around the world contributed to the production of the song.

Sand Man – The Sand Art of Peter

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttwxawO0ESc

This is the ephemeral art of Peter Donnelly. Peter is known as the “Sand Man” or “Sand Dancer” His art is an excellent example of “freestyle” art, rooted in surrealism. These art forms are expressions of the artists subconscious inclinations, without preconceived notions.

His works also have elements found in Tibetan Buddhism.  Like when the monks make their colored sand mandalas; ephemeral art, reflecting the philosophy of impermanence.
